-Brand New- Patched Shorts
I got kinda sick of seeing all these great denim skirts and languishing away in the local thrift and that got me thinking. What if I bought up a bunch and started turning them into something someone would want to wear forever and not just until the next big trend came around. So that’s what I’m trying to do now. Each piece is customized by me but it’s never truly done, it’s just a good start. Wear it, tear it up, patch it and then wear it some more. Let’s try to keep more clothes out of the landfills and out of the ocean!
These were an especially egregious offender, a brand new pair of fast fashion denim in the thrift. The problem was the artificial holes made the pockets unusable. So I took the pockets off, patched them up and sewed them back on. I also added some peek-a-boo patches that’ll show up more and more as you wear them!
Marked as a 31, the waist measures 15.5” with a 13.5” length
